Check out the Guld leaf, build the node, and contribute to consensus, wallet UI, and specs.

Thesis in two minutes

Skim the whitepaper or FAQ — L0 is a witness hub, not a VM.
Clone the umbrella

git clone https://guld.io/repos/guld.git then init the packages you need — REPO_LAYOUT.
Browse packages

/software/ is the map of every Guld leaf package (protocol, SDKs, reference dapps).
Build & run a node

Cargo workspace → guld-node --dev or a Simba peer — HOSTING, SIMBA. Operators: also see install.
Where rules live

Specs, rule bundles (spec 17), SOURCE_AND_RELEASE.
Contribute

CONTRIBUTING, GIPs, software flow (leaf → trunk commits).

Path B

Run against a peer, use @guld/js and extension login, and ship a leaf — without hacking consensus.

Mental model

Name + tip + leaf law; validators do not run your app — reference dapp.
Run or point at a node

Local guld-node --http or set a public Simba API base in wallet settings — operator install if you want your own peer.
Register a name

Register on Simba (faucet when ready) so your dapp can address you by name.
Publish remotes

In wallet account tools, add git + http hints so hosts and apps.guld.io can find your leaf — remotes standard.
Extension + site-login

Site-login demo — then use the same identity in your app (spec 14 §10).
SDK

@guld/js — HTTP client, txs, cosign, leaf hashes, remotes.
Copy a reference leaf

Play ttt.guld.io, clone guld-tic-tac-toe, then guld-apps for Postgres seal.
Leaf standards

docs/leaves/ — app manifest, remotes kinds, Postgres seal, cross-leaf.
Discover & publish

apps.guld.io — log in, list your app (prefills from remotes), seal under the apps tip.
