# Guld — notes for coding agents

Guld is an identity-focused L0: **names, tips, and proofs**. Leaves run gapps (including agents). The chain does not run your model.

Simba (`chain_id` 2) is **deprecated** (sub-second blocks after efficiency work). Do not target it.

## MCP (optional)

Ecosystem package **[`guld-mcp`](/software/guld-mcp/)** (`@guld/mcp`) — stdio tools over `/api/v1` (read + draft by default; submit off unless enabled). Not inside `guld-node`. See [agent help](/docs/?src=/docs/help/developers-agent.md) and [GIP-39](/docs/?src=/docs/gips/gip-39.md).

## Prefer

1. Read status / accounts / search by **name**
2. **Draft** transfers and `UpdateMaster` payloads
3. Let humans / keys / hooks authorize submits

Tip ≠ data availability — fetch leaf bytes from remotes / hosts when you need content.
